Red Woods National Park

To be among elders is to walk through time.

These trees are hundreds of years old and their size proves it. When Jess leaned against the base of a Cathedral Red Wood Tree, you could have put 20 of her size by side to cover the base on the side facing you. Walking through these woods really puts things into perspective as we walked through massive open spaces surrounded by towering trees. The sun often didn’t touch the ground where the trees were thickest.
